Has potential but needs work

Badoo is a dating/social hybrid with a massive global footprint — over 500 million registered users. It's particularly popular in Southern Europe, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. The experience is functional but feels commercially aggressive with frequent upsell prompts. The standout for me was enormous global user base, excellent for international dating. One thing that annoyed me — aggressive push notifications and upsell prompts feel intrusive. Worth knowing: free users can send and receive messages, browse profiles and use the encounters swipe feature. premium removes ads and adds visibility boosts.
